2018 has not been the best year for Zimbabwe but it sure still looks beautiful
As the year draws to an end, we celebrate the holidays, reflect (at some point) of 2018, a replica of 2008 in Zimbabwe in my opinion. We had bursts of cholera, devaluation of the bond notes(Zimbabwean interim currency), continuous fuel shortages or just long fuel ques – diesel, petrol and LP gas, we even had elections which produced the same results (go figure). Regardless of all the misfortunes we still had weddings, babies were born. We still have things to celebrate at individual levels. We mourn the loss of our loved ones but celebrate life that we still have. It’s the little things… Thank God for the thumb that plays the most important role on your hand functionality, for the family and friends that have been your support in so many ways. Whatever the circumstance we are ending 2018 in, as an individual, a family or as a nation, let us look at the good things we are entering 2019 with.
